ChemDesign was one of forty-four chemical manufacturers and affiliates involved with sponsoring the Fifth Annual Chemspec Events Scholarship Golf Outing. The outing generated over $20,000 for the scholarship awards to fortunate students majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering and the life sciences.
A grand total to over $77,000 has been raised since the tournament was founded. Last year, 2014 scholarships were given to students from Temple University’s Moulder Center for Drug Discovery Research and The Chemistry Department at Drexel University.
Two elected universities will be given the proceeds from the outing at the Chemical Heritage Foundation Joseph Priestley Society Luncheon in Philadelphia on Thursday, November 12th.
