Maintenance Mechanic

Mechanics at ChemDesign play an important role in operations of the plant. In this role, no day is ever the same. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failure. Repair, rebuild, install, and uninstall reactors, automation controls, glass lined equipment, cryogenic seals, mag-drive pumps, liquid and dry vacuum pumps, rotary seals and more. Our open position includes a fantastic benefits package and offers a straight day shift that allows a long, four day weekend every other week.

Journeyman Pipefitter

Are you proficient in welding stainless pipe? Our team is in need of a journeyman pipefitter to help us with custom pipe installations.  Our pipefitters work with engineers and operations on set-up design.  This position offers a straight day shift and 4-10 hour days per week and allows a long, four day weekend every other week.

Chemistry Lab Analyst 

Our team is looking for a Chemistry Lab Analyst experienced in GC, HPLC, and wet chemical techniques. This position involves working with other chemists to ensure proper testing is implemented in their efforts to scale up production. The technicians we hire are excellent communicators and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Our Quality Control Technician position requires working shift rotations and experience in laboratory science. An Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred, as well as expertise in GC & HPLC equipment and writing test methods.

Chemical Operator Positions

To provide some background before you apply, a chemical technician is a semi-skilled position that oversees the operating equipment in the manufacturing of various compounds used to improve our life needs.  Much like a chef, a chemical operator must follow a detailed recipe and combine various ingredients to make a new product.  We run a 24/7/365 operation that requires employees to work a rotating 12-hour work schedule.  Operators working this schedule enjoy the benefit of working only 14-days/month with a scheduled 7-days off every 28-days.  Overtime is available and greatly increases a person’s earning potential.
