ChemDesign Team Gives to Angel Tree Program

Angel Tree

Winter brings a different meaning to many aspects of midwestern life. Families gather from across states, snow starts to fly, and shoveling replaces your morning trip to the gym. It also signifies the season of giving. During the holiday season, many individuals look for ways to make a difference in their community. Volunteerism, donating, or spreading kindness can create a better locality and a happier workplace.

ChemDesign is a proud sponsor of many programs in the community with previous donations to the Marinette and Menominee Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Academy, Concerts in the Park, The Dar Boys and Girls Club, St. Vincent De Paul, and various programs for Marinette and Menominee Schools. Our charitable donations to promote community wellness are part of ChemDesign’s social sustainability initiative.

For the second year in a row, we chose to host an angel tree for the Marinette Salvation Army. In 2021, ChemDesign Employees bought gifts for 50 families in need and nearly 1/3 of families in the program. The remaining tickets were sponsored by ChemDesign to ensure all the families received gifts.

ChemDesign has also relaunched its United Way campaign. Recently, we had Tri-County United Way leader, Amy Martinez, visit our fundraising committee to help us brainstorm ideas for the campaign. By 2022, ChemDesign plans to match team member contributions again this year 100% for the first $1000 and 50% for the next $5000.

Since our founding in 1983, ChemDesign has supported community involvement for every employee. As we look to 2022, we will continue our involvement, as we know they provide funding to organizations important to our employees and the community.

To all employees at ChemDesign, we thank you for supporting our community. We are making a difference, one hour and one dollar at a time!
