ChemDesign is pleased to announce that it was awarded the 2019 Educational Outreach Award from the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates, (SOCMA). ChemDesign representatives accepted the award at SOCMA week, Dec. 4th-6th, in New Orleans. This is the fifth year ChemDesign has received national honors for its excellence in the specialties chemicals industry.
The Education Outreach Award was bestowed to ChemDesign for its successful efforts in the local community to inspire students that chemistry is a valued and necessary educational pathway. In the past year, ChemDesign employees led chemistry demonstrations and discussions with more than 700 elementary through high school students.
