ChemDesign is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Bronze Performance Improvement Award for Resource Management and Waste Minimization from the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates, (SOCMA). ChemDesign accepted the award at SOCMA week, Dec. 4th-6th, in New Orleans. This is the fifth year ChemDesign has received national honors for its excellence in the specialties chemicals industry.
The 2019 Bronze Performance Improvement Award was awarded to ChemDesign due to the facility’s excellence and efficiency in allocating resources and minimizing process waste streams. ChemDesign has proven it is a lead chemical and environmental resource for community agencies. They continue to be an innovator in industrial waste reduction & recycling operations. “Our environmental engineering team has exceeded expectations for resource management. They have created innovative solutions to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Their overall effort has improved waste management methods across the board.” said Tom Willis, Director of Health, Environmental, and Safety.
