Veterans Day has personal significance for fifteen percent of the ChemDesign workforce. The company employs veterans from the Army, Navy, Air Force and National Guard.
“Our company finds military experience to be a good fit for what we are looking for in our employees,” states Brian Bourgeois, Purchasing and Human Resources Manager. “Employees who have served in the military are good at taking direction and following written procedures. Their military training and structure stays for life.”
Veteran employees at ChemDesign Products are employed in operations, customer service, financial management and maintenance.
The company was recognized in 2007 by the Michigan Works! Job Force Board for its commitment to hiring our Nation’s veterans. They received the “Hire Vets First Business of the Year” award for Menominee County.
