ChemDesign Recognized by SOCMA for Outstanding Safety Performance

Marinette, WI – ChemDesign has been recognized by the Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA) for exceptional performance during SOCMA’s 2025 Safety Recognition Program, held on October 22 in San Antonio, Texas. The notable achievements ChemDesign introduced were related to its robust, comprehensive risk management system.

To enhance workplace safety, ChemDesign improved its Work Permit Program by requiring joint reviews from both operations and engineering teams before approval. The facility also introduced high-visibility piping labels to improve clarity and reduce risk.

Additional safety measures include implementing software to manage process safety and track corrective actions. A recent review of housekeeping inspections led to redesigned work zones to create an efficient, clean workspace.
